Sports Day 運動會

My students did an amazing job at Sports Day! Whether they were performing or running, I am so proud of all of them. My Kindergartners danced to Baby Shark and it was TOO CUTE! Let me also just say that my students sure are FAAASSSSTTTTT runners! WOW!
我的學生在運動會跑得很棒！無論他們是表演還是跑步，他們都是我的驕傲。我的幼兒園學生一起跳小鯊舞，太可愛了！我還要說我的學生都肯定是FAAASSSSTTTTT跑步者！哇！

Hanukkah- 光明節

We taught our students about Hanukkah last week and we even had them make their own dreidels! They had never heard about Hanukkah before and really enjoyed playing dreidel! Happy Hanukkah! 
上个礼拜我們教我們的學生關於光明節，我們甚至讓他們自己創作陀螺！ 他們以前没聽過光明節，真的很喜歡玩陀螺！光明節快樂!

NTU Reunion- 台大的團圓

Today I had a really happy reunion with my roommates and teachers from National Taiwan University! <3 Although we didn't win the darts competition or the bowling game, we still had a lot of fun! 
今天我跟我以前的台大室友和老師有一個很快樂團聚！雖然我們沒贏飛鏢比賽或保齡球比賽，但我們還玩的開心啦！

陽明山 Yang Ming Shan Mountain

Yang Ming Shan Mountain was truly the most beautiful place I have been to in Taiwan. The peaceful rolling hills, and cool, crisp air were refreshing and cleansing. I am so thankful for my friend for taking me on such a wonderful trip!
陽明山是我去过台灣最美麗的地方。 寧靜起伏的山巒，涼爽清新的空氣令人耳目一新。 我非常感謝我的朋友帶我參加這樣一次精彩的旅行！ :) <3

Novel- 小說

The month of November is over. 8 days into the month I decided to start a novel for National November Writing Month (NaNoWriMo). I had been sick lately, but I pushed myself to keep writing the best that I could. My goal was half of the 50,000 word goal, and I made it to my goal!  I didn't make it to the NaNoWriMo goal, but I made it to my own goal. This is the most that I have ever written, and I am so proud of myself.  I will keep writing and someday soon I will get to that 50,000 word goal. Using purely my imagination, I have created a story called "Fact or Fiction," with incredible main characters named Adriya and Charlie, who have given me so much joy to write about. Putting these words on paper and making a connection with my own story has truly been a wonderful experience. I have found my love of writing again, after 7 years. 
11月結束了。 11月的8天我決定开始國家11月寫作月（NaNoWriMo）創作一部小說。 我最近生病了，但是我努力一直写我的小说。 我的目標是五万個詞的一半， 我写达到了！ 虽然我沒有達到NaNoWriMo的目標，但是我达到了自己的目標。 這是我寫過的最多，我為自己感到驕傲。 我会繼續寫作，很快達到5万字的目標。 只用想像力，我創作了一個名為“事實或小說”的故事，其中有主角Adriya和Charlie，他們給我很多快樂。 把我想象力放在纸真的是一个很奇妙的经验。7年後，我再次發現了對寫作的熱愛。  :D

Thankfulness Tree- 感恩樹

The Thankfulness Tree that I made with my co-teacher, filled with so much gratitude from our students. We removed a big old poster that had been outside the office for probably a long time, and now there is a fresh tree filled with color, love, and our current students creations. Now when students pass the office, they will stop and try and find their leaf in the Tree of Thanks.
我和我的合作老師一起做的感恩樹，充滿了我們學生的感恩。在辦公室外面我們刪除了一張很舊大舊海報，現在有一棵新鮮的樹，有顏色，愛情，還有我們現在學生的創作。學生通過辦公室的時候，他們會停下來嘗試找到他們的葉子。 <3

Healthy Eating- 健康飲食

Since school started, I hadn't eaten much at school because there weren't many vegetarian options. This has started to affect my health. At the end of November, I took a taxi to a big grocery store and started my mission "Make Natasha Healthy Again!" I bought so many wonderful healthy foods and cooked up a storm at home. Now I can eat, smile and start being healthy again :).
從學期開始，在學校我沒吃那麼多，因為素食選擇不多。這個原因已經影響我的健康。 11月底，我坐出租車去了一家大雜貨店，開始了我的使命“讓Natasha再次健康！” 我買了很多健康食品，在家裡煮了風暴。現在我可以吃，微笑，並開始恢復健康:)。
I made my first homemade lunchbox in Taiwan, just in time for Thanksgiving! I am so thankful that I have access to such nourishing and delicious food, as well as a nice kitchen to cook them in. Now it has been about 2 weeks since I have been cooking my own food and I am feeling so healthy! 

我第一個自己做的午餐盒是在感恩節那一天！我非常感謝有這麼多健康的食物， 也有一個很漂亮廚房。已經快到兩個星期每天自己做午飯，我现在很健康！<3

Thankfulness- 感恩

In November we were learning about thankfulness, so the Kindergarten and 1st grade classes drew what they were thankful for. Although most students drew their families, there were also students who had some unique answers and explanations to what they were thankful for :) :
-Fruit (passion fruit specifically)
-Leaves 
-Their classmate ("Why?" "because soon we will get married")
-Me ("Why?" "because I am very pretty")
-My mom ("because she cooks good food")

11月我們學習了感恩節，幼兒園和一年級的課畫了他們感恩的東西。 雖然大多數學生都感謝他們的家人，但是有的學生有一些特别的答案。
- 水果（特別是西番蓮果）
-樹葉
- 他們的同學（“為什麼？”“因為我們會很快結婚”）
-我（“為什麼？”“因為我很漂亮”）

- 我的媽媽（“因為她做的很好吃”）
